Aqua Medic Spare UV-C Bulb for Helix Max - 18 W

The Aqua Medic spare UV-C bulb is a replacement lamp for the Helix Max UV-C water clarifier, which clears green water and cuts down free-floating bacteria and parasites.

Key Features

• Germicidal UV-C: peak output at 253.7 nm, for disinfecting water.
• Restores Performance: UV lamps lose strength with use, so a fresh bulb brings the clarifier back to full effect.
• Match The Unit: choose the wattage of your Helix Max.

Sizes We Hold

• 18 W - for the Helix Max 18 W, rated for saltwater tanks up to 500 L or freshwater up to 1,000 L.
• 36 W - for the Helix Max 36 W, rated for saltwater tanks up to 1,000 L or freshwater up to 2,000 L.

Good To Know

• Never look at a lit UV-C lamp and never run it outside its housing. UV-C light harms eyes and skin.
• Unplug the clarifier before opening it to change the bulb.
• Handle the new bulb by its base and keep the glass free of fingerprints.
• Check the quartz tube and seals while the unit is open.
