Aqua Medic Aquasun LED 150 W Aquarium Light

The Aqua Medic aquasunLED 150 W is a slim hanging LED light for saltwater aquariums, with a built-in programmable controller that runs daylight, blue light, moonlight and passing clouds.

• White And Blue LEDs: 1 W high-power LEDs, about 70 percent white and 30 percent blue, for a colour temperature of about 14,000 K.
• Programmable Control: separate dimmable channels for white, blue, moonlight and cloud effects, including a moon phase cycle.
• USB And Software: timer and dimming are set from a Windows PC over USB, with the DimEdit software supplied. No installation is needed on the PC.

Good To Know

• Hang it above the tank so air can move around the housing, since it relies on passive cooling.
• Bring the light level up gradually over a few weeks when moving corals to a new light.

• In a UAE summer, check water temperature under any light. LEDs add far less heat than metal halide, but the room itself may need cooling.
