The Two Features That Matter

The built-in drain. Bioactive and humid setups accumulate water — from misting, from a water feature, from condensation — and water sitting in the base goes anaerobic and sour. A tap valve in the floor means you can draw excess water off in seconds instead of dismantling a planted terrarium you have spent months establishing.

The patented dual ventilation system. Anyone who has kept a humid terrarium behind glass knows the problem: the front fogs up and you cannot see in. A glass panel at the front and a stainless steel strip at the back create a natural upward airflow that keeps the door clear even in high humidity, while venting excess heat through the top mesh.

The base is waterproof once the tubing, elbow connector and tap valve are fitted. Connect them before adding water.

Amphibian skin is permeable and absorbs what it touches. Use dechlorinated water for misting and topping up, and never handle amphibians with bare, dry hands.
