The Exo Terra Reptile Dome has an extra-long aluminium reflector that extends beyond the face of most bulbs, letting you place heat or light exactly where your terrarium needs it.

Why the Reflector Matters

A bare bulb throws most of its output into the room rather than the enclosure. The aluminium dome catches that and directs it downward, significantly increasing light, UVA and UVB reaching the animal. Because the dome extends past the face of the bulb, it also reduces glare into the room and keeps the beam where you aimed it.

This is the small 15 cm version, rated to 75W — right for smaller terrariums and lower-wattage bulbs. If you are running a mercury vapour bulb such as the Solar Glo, or a larger enclosure, choose the 21 cm dome rated to 160W instead.
