Description
The Exotic Nutrition Watermelon Chew Wedges are watermelon-shaped chews pressed from timothy hay and vegetables — the shape is for you, the fibre is for your pet.
Key Features
- Timothy hay with apple, beet root, carrot, sweet potato and pumpkin
- Coloured with the vegetables themselves rather than dyes
- Wedges about 1.25 in (3 cm) across
- High in fibre, and firm enough to give teeth work
- Suits rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, prairie dogs, degus and rats
- 4.7 oz (133 g)
Good To Know
- Keep treats under about 10% of the daily diet — two or three times a week is a sensible rhythm
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- This is a treat, not a diet — it does not replace a balanced staple food
- Hay chews are not a substitute for a hay rack — unlimited long-strand hay is still the foundation of the diet
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
