Description
The Exotic Nutrition Eucalyptus Sticks are a pair of hanging foraging sticks made with sun-dried eucalyptus leaf, oats, wheat, fruit and honey.
Key Features
- Eucalyptus leaf sourced from Australia and Tasmania, sun-dried
- Bound with oats, wheat, fruit and real honey
- Fortified with vitamins
- Wire hanger on each stick for hanging inside the cage
- Two sticks, 3.5 oz (99 g) total
Using It
- Hang the stick inside the cage using the wire holder
- Take it out once it has been picked over, and offer a fresh one another day
Good To Know
- Keep treats under about 10% of the daily diet — two or three times a week is a sensible rhythm
- The value here is the foraging, not the nutrition — a hanging stick gives a caged animal something to do at night
- Remove the wire holder from the cage once the stick is gone
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- This is a treat, not a diet — it does not replace a balanced staple food
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
