Description
The Exotic Nutrition Wax Snax Dried Wax Worms are farm-raised dried wax worms — the richest of the common feeder insects, and the one most pets will do anything for.
Key Features
- Single ingredient: farm-raised wax worms, dried
- High in fat and protein
- The insect most reliably taken by a fussy or recovering animal
- Offer alone, mixed into food, or hidden in a foraging toy
- Resealable 1 oz (28 g) bag
Good To Know
- Wax worms are the sweets of the insect world — very high in fat, and easy to overdo. A couple at a time, two or three times a week
- Useful for tempting an animal that has gone off its food, but if that lasts more than a day or two it is a vet visit, not a wax worm problem
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- This is a treat, not a diet — it does not replace a balanced staple food
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
