Groomers Choice Fluffy Styling Shampoo - For Dog - 4kg

A coat that lies flat cannot be scissored into shape, which is why the Groomers Choice Fluffy Styling Shampoo is the bottle a styling salon empties fastest. Hydrolysed protein, Pro-Vitamin B and natural alkyl lactate nourish the hair and then build texture into it, so the coat dries with body rather than falling limp.

Key Features

• 4kg bulk container: Salon volume, at a far lower cost per wash than the 500ml bottle
• Hydrolysed protein and Pro-Vitamin B: Nourish and help repair dry, worked hair
• Natural alkyl lactate: Builds the texture that lets a coat hold a shape
• Volume and elasticity: Leaves the coat springy, which is what makes it scissorable
• Chamomile and witch hazel: Keep the skin comfortable through the wash
• Silk protein and jojoba oil: Add softness and shine without flattening the coat

Ingredients

Water, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Glycerin, Fragrance, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Chamomile Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, C12-13 Alkyl Lactate, Polyquaternium-10, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Silk Protein, Jojoba Oil, Polyhexamethyleneguanidine Hydrochloride, CI 18820, CI 42080.

How To Use It

• Wet the coat right through with warm water.
• Work it in until a rich lather builds, from the neck down.
• Rinse until the water runs clear.
• Here is the part that matters: dry it with a dryer while brushing against the lie of the coat. Volume is built at the drying stage, not in the bottle -- a coat left to dry on its own will fall flat however good the shampoo was.

Which Coats It Suits

This is for coats that are meant to look full and hold a trimmed outline -- poodles, bichons, doodles, pomeranians, anything scissored. On a short smooth coat there is nothing for it to do, and on a long flowing coat that is supposed to hang rather than stand, the Silk Supple is the right shampoo instead.

Who Makes It

Groomers Choice is a professional grooming range built for salon use -- every shampoo and conditioner comes in a 500ml bottle and a 4kg salon container, so the formula does not change when you scale up. The shampoo range is soap-free and paraben-free, and most of it is built on an aromatherapy base.

Good To Know

• A 4kg container is a salon quantity. If you are washing one dog at home the 500ml bottle of the same formula will almost certainly outlast your interest in it.
• Soap-free and paraben-free. It does contain fragrance and colourants, so it is not the choice for a dog that reacts easily.
• A shampoo cleans; it does not treat disease. Broken, scabby or weeping skin, bald patches, a smell that returns within days of a bath, or scratching to the point of bleeding all need a vet rather than a different bottle.
• Avoid the eyes. If any gets in, flush thoroughly with clean water.
• Cover the pet's ears when you rinse.
• For external use only. Not edible.
• Keep out of reach of children, and store it sealed somewhere cool and dry.
