How To Use It

• Shampoo and rinse thoroughly first.
• Apply liberally at the base of the coat and work it out along the length of the hair. How much you need depends on coat length and volume.
• Leave it five to ten minutes. This is the step people skip, and it is the step that works.
• Rinse until it is completely out, then towel and dry.

Why Bother With A Separate Conditioner

Shampoo opens the hair up to clean it; a conditioner is what closes it again. On a short smooth coat you can skip it. On a long, fine, curly or damaged coat it is the difference between a coat that combs out easily and one that mats within days. It also cuts the static that makes a freshly dried coat cling and tangle.

Good To Know

• A 4kg container is a salon quantity. If you are washing one dog at home the 500ml bottle of the same formula will almost certainly outlast your interest in it.
• Rinse it out properly. Conditioner left in a thick coat leaves it greasy and flat.
• Soap-free and paraben-free, like the rest of the range.
• A shampoo cleans; it does not treat disease. Broken, scabby or weeping skin, bald patches, a smell that returns within days of a bath, or scratching to the point of bleeding all need a vet rather than a different bottle.
