Good To Know

• It must stand in a sump. Check the height of the skimmer and its foam cup against the space in your cabinet.
• Keep the sump water level steady, as level changes alter how wet or dry the foam is.
• A new skimmer can take a week or two to settle in and produce steady foam.
• Empty and rinse the foam cup regularly, and clean the pump every few months.
