Aqua Medic Marin 1000 Marine Filter System

The Aqua Medic Marin 1000 is a compact under-tank filter system for marine aquariums up to 1,000 litres, with trickle filtration, a protein skimmer and a nitrate reductor in one enclosed sump.

Key Features

• Biological Filtration: three trickle filter modules filled with Bactoballs.
• Protein Skimmer: a Turboflotor 1000 venturi skimmer runs on a bypass line.
• Mechanical And Carbon Stage: a mechanical and carbon filter module sits in the main water flow.
• Nitrate Reduction: a Nitratereductor, fed by an SP 3000 dosing pump.
• Easy Access: two sliding panes give access to the modules, and the lid lifts off for installation.

Good To Know

• The housing measures 60.5 x 40.5 x 57.5 cm. Allow at least another 15 cm in length for installation.
• Pipe connections are 25 mm for the flow and 32 mm for the return.
• It sits under the aquarium, so it needs a tank with an overflow or an overflow box to feed it.
• The nitrate reductor needs a carbon food source such as Denimar or Deniballs to work.
