Aqua Medic antiphos Fe is an iron-based filter medium that pulls phosphate and silicate out of freshwater and saltwater aquarium water, which takes away the nutrients that feed nuisance algae.

Key Features

• Removes Phosphate And Silicate: selectively binds both, so there is less for algae to grow on.

Good To Know

• Run it where water flows through it, in a filter bag or a media reactor.
• Test phosphate every week or two. When it starts to climb again, the medium is used up and needs replacing.
• It treats the result, not the cause. Feeding less and changing water regularly keep phosphate down in the first place.
• Keep the opened pack tightly closed between uses.
