The Exo Terra Compact Top is a small terrarium canopy for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates — a tidy way to light a compact enclosure without a dome balanced on the lid.

What It Does

The canopy itself is a housing and a reflector; the light, UV and heat all come from whichever bulbs you fit. That is the useful part: you can combine Exo Terra bulbs to get the ultraviolet to visual light ratio your species actually needs, rather than accepting whatever a fixed unit provides.

The built-in reflector directs output down into the terrarium instead of letting it spill into the room, which makes a real difference to how much UVB reaches the animal.
