Description
The Exotic Nutrition Bug Blend Dried Insect Treat is a jar of three freeze-dried insects — crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers — mixed together.
Key Features
- Crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers in one jar
- Frozen then freeze-dried, which holds the nutrition without refrigeration
- Keeps for a year or more unopened, with no live insects to house
- Good for scatter-feeding and foraging toys
- Suits sugar gliders, hedgehogs, wild birds, chickens, turtles, tropical fish and reptiles
- 1.74 oz (49 g) jar
Good To Know
- Keep treats under about 10% of the daily diet — two or three times a week is a sensible rhythm
- This is a treat, not a diet — it does not replace a balanced staple food
- Dried insects are lower in moisture than live ones — water matters more, not less, when you feed them
- Overfeeding treats causes weight gain. If your pet goes off its main food, stop the treats until it is eating normally again
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
