Description
The Exotic Nutrition Rodent Blocks are a block-form complete diet for small rodents — the format that stops a pet picking out its favourite bits.
Key Features
- Nutritionally complete and balanced
- Block format means every mouthful is the same, unlike a seed mix
- Hard enough to give continuously growing incisors something to wear on
- Suits rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, squirrels and degus
- 1 lb (454 g)
Good To Know
- Selective feeding is the main reason rodents on muesli-style mixes end up deficient — a block diet removes the choice
- Guinea pigs additionally need a vitamin C source and unlimited grass hay; blocks alone are not enough for them
- Introduce any new food gradually, alongside the diet your pet already eats
- Once opened, keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place; refrigerating it keeps the vitamins in condition for longer
- Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available
- Small exotics hide illness well. Weight loss, a change in droppings or refusing food warrants an exotics vet, not a change of treat
