Description
The Exotic Nutrition Mealworm Chow is a feed for your feeder insects — what the mealworms eat becomes what your pet eats.
Key Features
- Calcium-enriched formula, which is the point: feeder insects are naturally poor in calcium
- Fortified with vitamins A, D3, E, B12 and more
- Feeds mealworms, crickets and most other feeder insects
- Designed to be mixed into Exotic Nutrition Mealworm Keeper bedding
- 1 lb (454 g)
How To Use
- Mix 1/3 cup of Mealworm Chow into 3 cups of Mealworm Keeper or other bedding
- Repeat weekly
- Feed the insects to your pet the day after they have fed, so the nutrients are still in the gut
Good To Know
- Gut-loading is the difference between a mealworm being a decent food and an empty one — feed the insects 24–48 hours before you feed them on
- Dusting insects with a calcium supplement just before feeding is a separate step, and still worth doing
- Store in a cool, dry place
